Xiaofang Kiln's "Hand-painted Ice Plum Jade Dew Cup" is a piece from its blue-and-white porcelain series that exudes a strong literati spirit. This cup combines the delicate shape of the Song Dynasty Jade Dew Cup with the "ice plum pattern" decorative technique popular during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty.

Decorative Technique: Ice Plum Pattern
Visual Composition: Dark blue outlines ice-crack-like patterns (ice crack patterns), with white spaces between the cracks adorned with plum blossoms defying snow and frost. The posture of each plum blossom (budding, in full bloom, profile) and the density of the ice crack patterns are all hand-painted by the craftsman, making each cup unique and possessing strong artistic tension.

Shape Combination: Jade Dew Cup
Small and Exquisite: The flared rim and curved belly of the Jade Dew Cup allow the hand-painted ice plum pattern to move rhythmically with the curves of the cup, creating a visually dynamic effect.

The cup is thin and light, with a pleasant mouthfeel. The flared rim design makes the tea soup smoother when you drink it, making it suitable for teas with a delicate aroma.
