Jiang Youting's early Jun-glazed teacup/master cup from Yuanshan Kiln

Jiang Youting's early "Yuanshan Kiln" Jun glaze teacups (Jun ware series) represent a precious early stage in his career, before establishing his signature "Hidden Color Tenmoku" style. Unlike his later Tenmoku glazes, which pursued vibrant and varied colors, his early Jun glaze works focused more on the traditional "kiln transformation" and "thick, lustrous feel" of Jun ware.

Color: The pinkish hue often has a milky opacity, with a warm, jade-like glaze. Sometimes, faint purple or rose-red spots (commonly known as purple spots) appear, which are the most prized quality in the early Yuanshan Kiln Jun glaze series.

Glaze Texture: Early works have a thicker glaze layer with natural fluidity. At the rim, the glaze often thins, revealing the "brownish-yellow" or "grayish-white" body, creating a sense of depth.

Body and Feel: The hand-thrown pieces from this period have a more stable feel, with a solid body, making them worthy of collectors' attention.

Each teacup in Jiang Youting's collection is unique and handmade.
