Customer Reviews
Xiaofang Kiln: Master Cai Xiaofang's early works of Ru ware without crackle glaze, including rounded covered cups and bowls.

Crackle-free technique: Master Cai broke through the Song Dynasty Ru ware's ideal of "the best pieces are without crackles." His early crackle-free works have a thick, smooth, and pure glaze, like solidified fat, without any cracks. With years of use, the glaze color becomes increasingly warm and bright.

Rounded shape: The rounded covered cup is known for its full lines and harmonious proportions. Early works were mostly personally supervised by Master Cai, with elegant curves and a solid yet light feel.

Glaze color: Early pieces commonly feature sky blue, powder blue, and the rare "condensed emerald" glaze, with restrained colors and a refined, cultural charm.
