Basic steps and techniques for brewing Pu'er tea
The first brew of old Pu'er tea must be washed with 100 degree C boiling water (drain quickly and then pour it out)
Old raw tea needs to be brewed hot. In summer, you can brew it hot and put it in the refrigerator before drinking. (Cold drinks can be diluted to taste sweeter)
The water temperature required for brewing Pu'er tea: 100oC boiling water.
The amount of Pu'er raw tea: the ratio of tea to water is 1 gram of tea: 25cc of water. For example, a container of 180cc divided by 25 is about 7 grams of tea, which can be flushed multiple times.
Choice of water: pure water or mountain spring water (soft water is better), filtered tap water.
Time to boil water: When boiling water, do not keep boiling it after it boils, because there will be too little oxygen in the water and too many minerals in the water, which will cause hard water and affect the activity of the tea leaves. (Experience of the ancients: Boiling water should be moderate when it first boils to produce small bubbles like crab eyes and a sound like pine waves, which can best bring out the fragrance of tea from a spring. Boiling too much will cause it to become "old" and lose its activity. )
Tea soaking time: It depends on the condition of the tea. It is 30 seconds for raw tea. If the amount of tea is large, the time can be slightly shorter. If the amount of tea is small, the time can be slightly longer. At the beginning of brewing, the time can be slightly shorter. After multiple brewing times, the soaking time will be longer. Can be slightly longer.
The shade can be adjusted according to personal preference.
