Vessel Curation / Yixing Factory 1 Vintage Zisha TeapotJiangsu, China・Yixing Purple Clay Craft Factory 1
Curatorial Notes
A magnificent collector’s creation from the golden age of Yixing Factory 1, fusing classical geometric balance with auspicious ancient seal art. Handcrafted in the 1980s by veteran master Gao Fadi, this classic "Three-Legged Shi Piao" is shaped from pure aged purple clay (zini) and decorated using the meticulous "pusha" technique—sprinkling refined golden sand specks into the dark clay like stars across a midnight sky.
The body is engraved with the archaic seal script "Bai Fu Le Shou" (Hundred Blessings and Joyful Longevity), evoking the legendary Penglai immortals presiding over worldly fortune. Matured across decades, the vessel radiates a rich, warm glow upon tea seasoning.
