Yixing Factory 1 | "Zhongguo Yixing" Mark
1980s Vintage Red Clay "Guava" (Bale) Zisha Teapot 65cc
Vessel Curation / Yixing Factory 1 Vintage Miniature TeapotJiangsu, China・Yixing Purple Clay Craft Factory 1
Curatorial Notes
A cherished gem from the peak export and Gongfu tea era of Yixing Factory 1 in the 1980s. Bearing the classic four-character mark "Zhongguo Yixing" (China Yixing) on its base, this miniature "Guava" (Bale) teapot is sculpted from pure original ore red clay (hongni). Fired to a dense, luminous terracotta glow, the body has aged gracefully across decades, eliminating any residual kiln dryness. At an exquisite 65cc capacity, it represents the pinnacle of traditional Gongfu tea aesthetics, developing an enviable glossy patina through tea seasoning.
Vessel Form & Tea Space Aesthetics
Vintage Red Clay & Intense Aroma Induction: Authentic 1980s Factory 1 red clay boasts high density and fine micro-porosity. It excels at driving high-temperature water to awaken celestial florals and delicate honey notes in High Mountain Oolongs and Dancong teas.
Supple Silhouette & Agile Pour: Modeled after the organic roundness of a ripening guava, the droplet-shaped lower waist provides grounded stability. The direct straight spout yields a swift, unbroken stream with an agile, dripless cutoff, making it an irreplaceable instrument for intimate, mindful brewing.
