Xiaofang Kiln Master Cai Xiaofang's Yellow Glaze Wanyu Cup Ceramics Purchase and Consignment

Design: The wide mouth and shallow belly design feature smooth lines, presenting an elegant form reminiscent of an ancient jade dish. Because of its wide mouth and shallow belly, the tea cools down very quickly after being poured in. It is suitable for teas that require slight cooling to fully appreciate their sweetness and to avoid scalding the mouth, such as high-quality rock tea, aged Pu-erh tea, or high-mountain oolong. The thickness of the cup wall allows for precise handling; fingers resting on the rim adds a sense of ritual to the scholar's tea-drinking experience.

Glaze: Successfully replicates the most famous "delicate yellow glaze" from the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty. The glaze is delicate, pure, and moist, presenting a soft texture like an egg yolk. The glaze surface is bright and lustrous, with a restrained luster. The cup is fully glazed from the inside out, with a flawless and even color, showcasing a noble imperial air.
