The first brew of old Pu'er tea must be washed with 100 degree C boiling water (drain quickly and then pour it out)
Ripe tea needs to be brewed hot. In summer, you can brew it hot and put it in the refrigerator before drinking. (Cold drinks can be diluted to taste sweeter)
The water temperature required for brewing Pu'er tea: 100oC boiling water.
Amount of tea for Pu'er tea: one serving (one piece) is about 7 grams. Xiaotuo tea: 800 ~ 1000 C.C. water.
Choice of water: pure water or mountain spring water (soft water is better), filtered tap water.
Time to boil water: When boiling water, do not keep boiling it after it boils, because there will be too little oxygen in the water and too many minerals in the water, which will cause hard water and affect the activity of the tea leaves.
(Experience of the ancients: Boiling water should be moderate when it first boils to produce small bubbles like crab eyes and a sound like pine waves, which can best bring out the fragrance of tea from a spring. Boiling too much will cause it to become "old" and lose its activity. )
Tea steeping time: For a 1000CC teapot, soak for 5 minutes before drinking.
When the amount of tea is large, the time can be slightly shorter. When the amount of tea is small, the time can be slightly longer. When brewing, the time can be slightly shorter. After brewing multiple times, the time can be slightly longer.
The shade can be adjusted according to personal preference.
