Design:
Persimmon Shape: The teapot's body is round and full, mimicking the shape of a ripe persimmon, and the body is typically quite thick. The word for persimmon sounds like the word for "affairs," symbolizing "everything going smoothly." This design, combining natural fruit with scholar's teaware, appears particularly approachable and spirited in Xiaofang Kiln's works.

Ru Kiln Craftsmanship:
Smooth as solidified fat, like jade but not jade: The glaze is thick and the texture is fine and smooth. It feels thick and smooth to the touch, like mutton fat jade, due to the presence of agate powder in the glaze, creating a unique milky opacity after high-temperature firing. Xiaofang Kiln's crackles are as fine and transparent as cicada wings, possessing a sense of layering.
