Hand-thrown and shaved to exquisite thinness, the pure porcelain body offers remarkable translucency. During the high-temperature firing, the glaze slightly pulls back at the rim to reveal a crisp, white porcelain edge—the classic "lampwick rim" (Deng Cao Kou) celebrated in classical connoisseurship.
