Reinterpreting the revered blue-and-white aesthetic of the Chenghua imperial era, Master Tsai Hsiao-fang pairs pure, jade-like porcelain with exquisite hand-painted craftsmanship. The traditional "Children at Play" (Yingxi) motif is meticulously rendered by master painters, capturing the spontaneous joy and innocence of childhood with lively brushstrokes. Using the challenging "water-wash" (Fen Shui) technique, the cobalt ink diffuses naturally across the white ground to produce subtle five-tone tonal gradations reminiscent of classical Chinese ink wash painting.
