【INCENSE.TEA HOUSE】Hsiao Fang Pottery ArtsA set of eight teacups and eight saucers in a celadon glaze tea cup and bell cup gift box.

Classic "Bell Cup" Shape: The bell cup (also known as a tasting cup) is named for its bell-like shape when inverted. It features a slightly flared rim, a smooth, tapering body, and a deep, high foot. This shape is exceptionally effective at concentrating aroma, perfectly capturing the fragrance of high-mountain or aged teas. It demands exceptional skill in the precise proportions of hand-throwing and shaping the tea.

The Cyan Glaze Color: Xiaofang Kiln's cyan glaze falls between pale blue and emerald green, exhibiting a gem-like clarity, crystalline luster, and a thick, even application. Under different lighting conditions, the glaze displays a deep, vitreous sheen, perfectly complementing the bright color of the tea liquor.

The Rare Eight-Cup, Eight-Saucer Set: The market typically offers single cups (the host's cup), pairs of cups, or sets of six cups. The "eight cups and eight saucers (a total of 16 pieces)" configuration is the standard for a large tea ceremony. During the firing process, it is necessary to ensure that the eight cups and eight saucers have "consistent color, similar degree of kiln transformation and crackling, and zero defects in shape". The yield rate is extremely low.
