This teacup, part of Master Cai Xiaofang's monochrome glaze series, perfectly blends the minimalist "straw hat" shape of Song Dynasty literati, the petal lines of the "sunflower rim" of official kilns, and the "delicate yellow glaze" of the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty.

Warm and lustrous glaze: The delicate yellow glaze reached its peak during the Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty, named for its clear, tender, and chicken-fat-like texture. Xiaofang Kiln successfully reproduces this clear, transparent, and jade-like texture.

Exquisite craftsmanship: The sunflower rim shape mimics the curve of a blooming flower, with smooth and beautiful lines, showcasing superb throwing and trimming techniques. The thin-walled technique results in a light and airy feel.
