茶海使用

Usage of the Tea Pitcher:

Even Tea Concentration: When tea leaves are steeped in a pot, the tea at the bottom is usually stronger than the top. Pouring the tea into a tea pitcher first ensures a uniform strength for each guest, hence the name "fairness pitcher."

Sedimentation: When tea is poured from a pot or gaiwan, it often contains small pieces of tea leaves. The tea pitcher acts as a secondary filter and settles the tea, resulting in clearer tea in the teacups.

Temperature Regulation: Freshly brewed tea is extremely hot. The tea pitcher, through contact with air, helps to lower the tea temperature to a comfortable drinking temperature.
